Louie’s Cage Percussion is an Austrian percussion ensemble of academic musicians who like everything that is new and different. Their music can hardly be placed in any of the known music genres, because they have their roots in classical music, their trunk in jazz, their branches in electronic music, and they blossom in their performance.
On the stage screen, they are accompanied by a digital and visual artist who gives additional life to the stories and the musical experience. Their shows are full of fun, humour and some madness, sometimes even melancholy. Their instruments are all kinds of percussions, but also a guitar, keyboards, a tuba, and vocals. Every instrument tells a different story, and every story has a different kind of magic.
