Skampida is one of the most popular and successful Columbian reggae bands. Besides their reggae roots, they are also inspired by the rich tradition of folk rhythms, Latin sounds like cumbia and champeta, and also punk and hip hop.
They are regular guests on stages all across Latin America and also in the USA. The New Times and Shock Magazine called them “the best ska and reggae band of recent years”.
Skampida released 5 albums, of which their last album Transmutante was published last year, and some EPs. Their live performance is full of musical energy.
